Hartbrights aids repairs to Domino’s Pizza Storm Doris damage

When Storm Doris hit the UK on Thursday 27th February, causing an estimated £400m worth of damage across the country, it also caused significant damage to roof sheeting and exterior cladding at Domino’s Pizza‘s Head Office and Commissary in Milton Keynes.

Cladding specialists IRC-Carocelle attended the site almost immediately to stabilise the issues before being contracted to proceed with the necessary remedial works to the roof and walls some two years later.

IRC approached Booth Muirie, the original manufacturers of the curved aluminium composite panels (ACM), to provide the replacement rainscreen cladding required. Unfortunately, they couldn’t fulfil the requirement and instead recommended Hartbrights Architectural Cladding for the project.

After unsuccessfully attempting to obtain quotes from several other ACM fabricators, IRC approached us and we were able to provide a competitive quote with “a competent professional approach”.

We produced five curved replacement Alpolic ACM panels in silver metallic, which integrated seamlessly with the existing panels, allowing IRC to complete critical renovations of the main entrance to Domino’s HQ.

BEFORE: Damaged panels removed.
AFTER: New curved panels in place.

“We and the client are delighted with the end results and would highly recommend Hartbrights Architectural Cladding’s service, commitment and professionalism.”
